Our Founder
Tara-Lynn Sabourin, former global fashion brand CEO, and more recently took a fashion startup from $500K to $11M in revenue in 24 months.
After seeing how big fashion brands operate and how startups operate, she found out why the fashion industry is in the state it is and, even better, how to solve it.
Tara-Lynn is now focused on solving the biggest problems in the fashion industry at Weslynn Sustainability Corp. She is focused on helping address the core problems the industry has been unable to address through 100% full-cycle cotton-to-customer, traceability, efficiency and repurposing.
"Global fashion VP's of sustainability feel like they are at a dead end, as the largest fashion brands in the world have to satisfy shareholder returns and with existing supply chains it is extremely costly to pivot. Meanwhile, the smaller sustainable and ethical fashion brands have trouble getting the buy-in from investors and adequate capitalization to scale their ventures." - Tara-Lynn Sabourin
Weslynn plans to change that. Weslynn is the vehicle to help scale the slow fashion movement; collaborating with other global sustainable brands and leaders to increase both local and global efficiency and distribution. Meanwhile, our technology is the core focus, and underlying infrastructure, that will provide for 100% full-cycle cotton-to-customer, traceability, efficiency and repurposing.
In the future our plan is to open-source the technology, our materials and our manufacturing and distribution pipelines and make it available to the global fashion industry at large to help increase scale and velocity in sustainability.
"In order to break through and solve some of the most pressing issues and save our planet, we all need to collaborate. We need to work together against the large global fashion brands polluting our planet and producing products at the expense and lives of its workers. It's time to start helping one another succeeded in big ways.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to learn more about our vision and mission for the future.
We are always grateful.
